After 25 years in Corporate Management, Pastor Brian Riskey began full-time ministry as Associate Pastor of Men's Ministries for Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley, California. His wife, Wendy, was serving as the Children's Ministry Director. After five years of ministry in Simi Valley, they were called to plant a new church in Castle Rock, Colorado. Cornerstone Castle Rock held its first public Worship Service in March 2006. Brian and Wendy have been married since 1979. They believe that strong Godly marriages and close-knit families focused on serving the Lord are essential in bringing glory to God. Brian and Wendy have served together by speaking at marriage retreats both in Southern California and Uganda, East Africa, as well as discipling couples in regards to marriage and family. The Riskeys have two grown sons, both of whom live in Colorado - Brent & his wife Lindsay, and Brandon & his wife Stephanie.
